Well...my road trip started in Montgomery and ended in San Antonio...13 hours later.
The pics don't really start till I got on the Mississppi River Bridge....I-10 heading west was an EXTREMELY boring drive...needless to say, if you've ever driven through Texas, you know is nothing there!


Well...here we go....I stopped in Houston to take a leak...and then got lost.

 

....while I was lost, my fascination w/the 'Pink Taco' got the best of me....and since my recording studio's name is 'Pink Taco Stand Productions'....I had to try the cuisine...which was pretty fawking good.

 

Also...the friggin' traffic is a bitch...so I decided to cheat the system and use the HOV lane...ha ha...wow...it was a blast....the last time I used an HOV lane was in Miami this past Xmas. Oh yeah...and what's up w/the Texas weather? One minute it's bright, warm and sunny, the next minute it's cold, rainy & shitty!

 

Yep, that's Oklahoma weather too....

 

After finally reaching San Antonio and getting settled into my hotel room at Randolph AFB (that tower thingee is the landmark of the base), I had to go pick up my buddies sister. Yep...I drove 13 hours just to pick her up...ha ha....then show her the night life of the town.

We didn't take any pics that night, because I left the camera at the room to charge. So, we'll pick up from her brother's graduation ceremony....

 

And more grad stuff...ha ha...I miss Basic training!

Finally...after 6 weeks of BS...we welcome in a new Airman!

And...I had to snap a diehard UF Gator fan in my Miami pull over...that's blackmail material right there!

He couldn't leave base on the first day, so we just hung out and checked out his dorm room etc....I forgot how hardcore some of the TI's can be.

 

No pics that night...I fell asleep to the sweet taste of a 6 pack of Corona's.
Here's the following day (Saturday)..downtown finally....Alamo....

 

Dick's Last Resort....don't care what I'm doing, I'll ALWAYS find an excuse to go eat there! Just the fact that the food is great and the service is awesome *Ummm...you just gotta go to understand*
