What do you think...

Ok I know this isn't a Mazda6 place but I have a ^ and a 2002 pro...I just love Mazda...well anyway....If I was to remove these 2 grill things( bottom left and right) and replace them with something that would allow cooler air in...do you think it would improve performance??? Of course I know it won't be noticable but don't you think it would add to whetever else I do...such as....intake, etc.

nah not really. If you're interested in lowering coolant temps I would just add a bottle of "Redline Water Wetter"

If you're looking to lower intake temps buy a CAI. If you're looking to lower underhood temps buy an EVO style hood.

The grills up front aren't really restricting anything and unless you make custom tunnels for the ram-air to move into the engine bay.

As stated.....it won't do you any good.....not to mention, that is how the entire lower portion of your front is supported.

you can also remove the weather stripping from the rear of the hood/engine bay seal along the washer arm cowling....old hot rodders trick to get some cooler air into the engine bay
