Mental Addiction Motorsports Street Sleeper

I just finished installing this kit a few weeks ago and wanted to see what the community thought of it. The kit was just released a few weeks ago by Beau Pauley at Mental Addiction Motorsports.

The kit includes:

* Garrett GT28RS ball bearing turbo (Disco Potato)
* Ceramic coated stainless manifold (log type)
* Tial 38mm External wastegate
* Huge front mounted intercooler with bar/plate core (24x6x3.5)
* ceramic coated 321 stainless wastegate & down piping
* MPI Tuner (piggy back)
* HKS SS blow-off valve
* Braided oil feed & drain lines
* T-bolt clamps
* Silicone couplings
* Autometer Boost Guage
* Powder caoted cold parts (choice of colors)
* Heat shield
* etc.

This is an increadably complete kit.

everything looks great. The only thing I would be worried about is that MPI tuner. I've heard nothing but problems with them. If you have difficulties getting it tuned properly let me know and I can get you taken care of.

it looks good - how was the install? Clean or a lot of cutting/shaping-to-fit? Do you have a link? Price?

Thanks!

Fit was very good, I needed to remove the passenger tie-down hook (4 bolts) but otherwise everything went smoothly.

The kit is retail $4395.

Hey Matty
Your kit and a forged block will give 300 whp, or were you just making a point, Plus I take it that is just for the parts not install!

With a forged block and my Haltech to control fuel tuning 300hp should be NO problem whatsoever. Once the internals strength is addressed and you already have fuel management the only limiting factor would be your stock fuel system. I've seen them run 250-ish.....all you would need would be some WRX 440cc injectors and just a light tune on the haltech and you're golden.

p.s. I don't want to turn this into another supercharger conversation. Let's not forget the topic.....$4400 for a turbo kit with a stock block.
