Wanted to know if anyone knows how much the stock driver and passenger seats cost? I took my original seats out and had racing seats ( R1 Sports) put in. Now I'm debating whether to get the mazda speed racing seats instead or just put stock seats back in. Any advice anyone?

 

by mazdaspeed seats do you mean the ACTUAL mazdaspeed seats or the ones from ebay??

I would say that pair of cloth non-airbagged protege seats would be worth about $100 a pair from a junkyard. I just bought a set of 3000GT seats for that price and they area lot nicer.

 

I was looking at the mazdaspeed seats that were on ebay. How do these compare in looks to the ones in the mazdaspeed? Also how would I go about locating stock seats for the 02 protege in junkyards in the chicagoland area?

 

the ebay seats look MUCH cooler in my opinion. I plan on buying some here very soon. I'm selling my leather interior to a guy locally who is going to give me his cloth as a back up. The rear seats are staying out and I'm making a custom nitrous rack in the back.

The MSP seats are the same as the stock cloth seats except they have a different covering. They look nice but are nowhere near as supportive as a set of aftermarket race seats will be.

Will those 3000gt seats fit our Mazda's or did you buy for a 3000gt?

 

bought them for a 3000GT vr4 a friend of mine just bought. Happy birthday to him!
