Uh..don't come with the shift ****..

And as roddimus prime..mentioned..if you already have a p5..there is no need..unless you plan on cutting it down..and making it into a Short Shifter!

I cut the extension off of my stock shifter, and if I want to sell the car in the future, I may want a completely stock shifter with the **** threads. How easy is it to reinstall the shift arm? Thanks, Brad.

fairly simple.

Just need to remove a bolt that connects shifter to the tranny. And remove horse shoe clip..

and your done!

hey sorry I was out of town for the last week... that's why I asked about the pocket but didn't post anything further. i think i still may be interested because I am going to install my single din kenwood mp3 HU. is it a stock piece or from another installation kit? thanks!

It's from a install kit.

The stock p5 has a Double Din Radio..so there was never any stock pocket.

Ah gotcha. The protege mp3 had a little pocket with a flap on it because it came with the kenwood deck, and i think earlier models, like the 99 had a single din deck.
