where to run amp power?

i was kinda lookin', and i haven't gotten there yet, and i don't know exactly where i want to run my amp power into the cabin from the battery. i think the closest place would be right beside the clutch where there is a boot heading into the cabin. in the past, i've just drilled holes wherever i liked, because my cars were all older, however with this one being new (1 month) i don't want to do that, not that putting all this in won't void my warranty anyhow. just thought some of you could give me some feedback, and i could go from there. thanks in advance all, later

That is where I did mine (the gromet above the clutch) and ran alongside the driver's side and RCAs on the passenger side.

No problem. I encountered the same thing when I first put my system in this car. Not many options other than that with the 2001 and up models.

right by the passenger side foot area, there is a massive grommet there, someone said they were able to run 1GA thru there, for me i ran 4GA to a distro block in my trunk, from there 2 8 ga to an amp in my trunk and 1 under my driver seat, soon there will be an amp under my pass seat as i may get bass shakers

2g through the grommet by the clutchw ithout a problem. plus it's close to the battery and easy to get to. the one on the pass side footwell's got a PILE of wires that go along with it, and I'd really prefer to keep the electrical noise down over there. Not to mention it's adding alot of extra wire and clutter to your engine compartment to run there.

What's more important is what else you are running with it or near it.....Keep the power line away from the signal. Also be sure to take time to rout the power line AWAY from where your feet will land.
