Talking Wooohooooo!!

Just picked up my brand spankin new P5 last friday night, already put about 500km on it...

Took it out of the showroom with 17km on the Odo and that awesome new car smell in the cab.... Gotta love it!

Next on the list - tinting and a new intake. Anybody in Edmonton have any recomendations for places where I could get either done?

See you on the boards!

As for intake, get the parts you want out of the US, as that's the only place to get them from anyway, and either install it yourself or have Doug at Abbey Road Automotive (independant Mazda shop on the westend) install it.
Right-O on the Tint shop - thanks for all your help so far, Richard! It's MUCH MUCH MUCH appreciated!

What's the best places to get them out of the US? Online, or special order through a place here in the city? Have you bought anything through Mitch at Protege5Online?

Congrats!

I put about 250 on my Protege the day I got it. We drove from Calgary out to Canmore and around some nice moutain roads then home.

I miss the new car smell. My car smells like mildue now as the floor mats have been wet and salty for the last 3 months now. Hopefully a good cleaning will have her smelling like new.

Which is exactly why that saturday I went and got some pantsaver rubber floormats. No mildew smell!!!

Why do manufacturers INSIST on carpeted floormats??? They look great for the first day you're driving it, then they get all dirty and start to stink...

You'll never get carpet mats as clean as they were when they were brand new, but the rubber ones just need a good spray while you're at the car wash!
