www.corksport.com will definatley get you started. Its a mazda performance shop in Portland, OR. I believe there are a bunch of Pro 5 owners in the seattle area, only first gen owner ('90-'94) I know of up there is Brian. Ive got a '92 DX in Beaverton, OR. As for upgrades, engine wise the best to do is get the BP8T, the 1.8L turbo engine out of the japanese only GTX protege. Or if you have the LX with the DOHC engine it might be cheaper to just get the turbo exhaust manifold and do the build up from there. In the suspension area I have Intrax 1 3/4" drop springs and tokico R struts with a strut tower bar from corksport. Coilovers and adjustable struts are pretty expensive. Ask around in the 1st gen parts of the forum for more info or join the protegetech yahoo group.
