I Have a problem. why is it that when something as important such as a server change us users were not notified? Most of the user have probably left. I left a week ago and even took off my 'proclub.com' stickers off my car because I am tired of the site going down. Be surprised if I am back.

 

You don't know all the circumstances involved, so please don't pass judgement. Things were a mess, mainly because godaddy screwed up the nameserver entries pointing the site to a park page for a week ... and it took forever to get in touch with Jeff to get the godaddy login and fix the nameserver entries. It also took time to get a database dump from the old webhost, transfer, and test it on the new boxes.

This stuff takes time, I wish I could have had access to the site while doing the transfer ... but godaddy pointing it to a park page really screwed up that plan.

 

I understand the 'unforseen circumstances' but, I believe it will be very hard to get the usual users back. I met many good friends because of here but now I realize that 'you can't put all your eggs into one basket'. Many users are upset with the realiability that the site has shown lately. I know it's not your fault, your doing the best you can with limited resources. Good luck. I'll pop in and out to check on info that is stored here and to see if my friends are back here.

I apologize if I'm 'whining', I have moved on...but I do know a good thing when I have it. I am just not going to put as much effort into it as I did. So I am leaving now, *closing the door*

Hey Guys, glad to have the site back up!! I was concerned that it was shutting down for good, but that's not the case, I guess. Thanks for all the hard work trying to fix/improve the site!!

 

Thanks, more like we're UP for good. Now that we're on the good boxes, and under my control, the site is here to stay.

Hey, could you make your sig less than 800 pixels wide? Kinda annoying having to stretch the browser for a signature. Something like a normal banner size would be more considerate, like 460 wide.

 

Yeah. I agree that its nobodys fault really, but I have noticed a lack of posts and related items. O well. What can u do.

If you go into your User Control Panel, options ... there are 2 new styles to choose from. Haven't modded the banner yet, but will tonight most likely. I like them, they're a nice change of pace.

I'm still working on the FINAL look. Creating a vBulletin template from scratch takes a LONG time.

 

I have a question...Are we going to be banned if we refer to posts posted on http://clubprotege.com ?

 

I don't care if you link posts. Just don't come on here with the sole intention of promoting the other sites. Don't post stuff like "this place sucks, come checkout whatever.com"

As long as you contribute, I'm cool with competition.
