My dad is looking for a new car. We've always been a family of non-fancy economy cars. Always brand new.

For the buck my dad has noticed the best cars have turned out to be the Protege 5 and the Mazda 6.

I told my dad flat out, "If you get a 6, I will kill you and steal your car. I am not kidding."

they were originally looking at a Honda Element and a RAV 4! I was like NOoooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Then they come home with this news? wow. I did a doubletake for sure.

the mazda6 is a beaut. i test drove the i-4 version and although not very impressed by the engine, the handling and how smooth it is. WOW


make them get the i-4 then turbo that biatch. =)

 

hay! whats wrong with a rav 4? they're sweet too n handle like a biatch.
But ya, i test drove the six but it only had lik 5 miles on it, so i wasnt able to go ripping up the streets, so Im not too familiar with how it performs, but it handled pretty nice.

 

I took a 6 out a while back with the 6 and 5spd.... It was with the guy that I originally bought my car from too.....

Man it was fun!!! A LOT faster than my P5 (not that I wasn't expecting it) but I launched that bitch (after some encouragement from the salesman) at the last light out of the city, I hit 3rd and looked down OOOO 120... better slow down seeing as it was still a 60km/h zone....

I like I like... I think I might get one in a few more months... Haven't even had the P5 2 years yet....

BTW I was also trying to talk my parents into one... once they sell the saturn...

 

Oh it wasnt the fact the rav4 was not great, but they were going to get the 4 cylinder version. Last night they went out and looked at a Santa Fe. Bleeeeeeeh.

Then I convinced them to look at Mazda again since the one dealership they went to the salesmen were morons :P

 

They should get a Neon SRT-4 so you can be put to shame!! You would **** if that happened. My parent's have a faster car than me!
