I've just install a Apexi S-AFC II the wiring are hooked-up right according the the mazda shop manual. So here's the prob it will ckrank up then die. I called Apexi they said its was because the sensor type and number was wrong but they did'nt know what the sensor number was, so if anyone has done this before please help or if anyone know what sensor number to input please post.

yikes! i dont even know what an Apexi S-AFC II is! sorry i cant help, but at least maybe you could try to un-install it so that your car runs again?

i dont know what that is like i said, so i don't know how long it would take to un-install or if installing it in the first place would do permanent damge. But i think it's worth a shot just to try to get your car started again.

 

Not sure what engine you have, but I remember someone with 2.0L tried earlier and it did not work for them either. I can't remember their username though, sorry.

 

Did you ever get the SAFC in your car? why did you install it? upgrading the injectors? adding alittle fuel? have you tried rewiring the fuel pump first? What did you do with the 'blue' wire?Did you plug the air sensor back in ect? did you hook the air single wire back into the car? air single -> safc -> ECU?
