Drop-Kit

I want to lower my car. Should I wait to get my body kit then lower or lower it now? Any suggestions for a drop-kit? Apex springs? ?? I need more suggestions and how much I should drop it.

THanks

Welll, its really your choice on what you watn to do. If you get the bodykit, then that means you got less space to drop a car because the kit is a bit longer. I got a kit with 15 inch rimz that I'm bout to get rid of and get 17's. With that, I'm not even sure how much I'm going to drop the car. My car scrapes everything now that i got the kit, what I might end up doing is dropping the back a bit and leaving the front the way it is. I've heard bad things about coilovers basically cause of alignment. With many people telling me to use springs, more than likely I'll be using lowering springs for the back. But if you've got enough money to get airbags/hydraulics.... get dat lol and show us a pic or sometin.

Ive got the Apex springs with KYB GR-2 struts...I would recomend (since your car is older), replacing the struts at the same time too.

depending on what body kit you are going to get. The drop from the BG springs is pretty good as you saw above, but if your going to be using a body kit, be carful as you will easily scrape the side skirts and the front bumper.

I have scraped the bottom my spoiler many-a-time even when I had my 16's .
(bg springs on my car)

and if you have coilovers and drop your car this low. You can forget about a front body kit bumper.. as you will scrape it all the time. at this hight I used to scrape the sides of the car going in the driveway right before the car.

this is Cris Hunts car with Arospeed Coilovers

like others have said, I would replace the shocks also and if need be the strut mounts to ...
