ok, i see the post for what we don't like about our cars. They're mostly minor things but enough to turn you into another brand car? I've always liked small, good handling cars and i think i'll stick with the Pro. in the future too. So ... what's your next car?

I actually already own my next car, but it's in slightly better than junkyard condition. Once I finish it:

'54 Bel Air 2 door.

I have the option of dropping a Buick 327 in it, but I'm deciding to keep the inline 6 for authenticity and practicality - it won't be raced. I'm going with a light tan / forest green color scheme. The roof and wheel well accent will be the green while the rest will be the tan. My old boss was looking to sell it because he was spending all of his time on his 454 Chevelle. He gave me the Bel Air at no cost in exchange that I work with him on the Chevelle. It was fine with me, I would've helped him just for the experience. Anyways, here's the same body with different colors:

Mazda RX-8 is my next car... unless something equally cooler and bang-per-buck comes out or it has reliability problems.

But that's at least 3 years down the road, who knows what will happen...

Well I still want to get a SRT-4 next summer, hopefully.

If not, I want to get a RX-8 by the time I graduate from college. Probably 3-4 years from now.

realistically, my next car will be another protege, sentra, or lancer, or anything else in that price range. not-so-realistically i wouldnt mind testing out that mazda6; i'd wait a few years till they work out any kinks in the US version, altima, used bmw 3-series, or used lexus IS300 (love that toyota altezza). of course i always have that dream of a Shelby 427 S/C Cobra. i've always wanted a '74 Stingray for the local track on sundays.

Yeh, if I do get anything else other than the SRT-4, it will be preowned. I wouldn't mind having a pre-owned IS300, RSX, or 3 series either. Most likely I'll get another car in about 3 years and it will be preowned.

I'm pretty happy with what I have now. So I think I'll stick with it till it dies.

I plan on putting so much money in my pro, i doubt i'll be getting anything anytime soon....I'm getting a turbo, mazdaspeed suspension, quaife lsd,16's with widest tires possible, brake upgrade, then i'll probly start looking at carbon fiber hoods, racing seats, after spending all this i'll be hard pressed to want to drop this car....but eventually I'll be looking towards a 350Z....but who knows what will be available when im back in the market for another car, that wont be until '05, or '06
