Me and my friend in his 1994 Pontiac Grand Am where driving around the area. So we decided to race real quick. We both have stupid Auto Tranmissions...
Of course i lost no biggie.

So we pull to the next light and a Lexus IS 300 Rev's his engine up, so do we. I know the Pro can only win in the special car olympics but i was determined to move on.
When the light turned green i floored it, the Lexus and Grand Am drove into the sunset, so far they managed to pass the red light where i had to stop at due to the new red light camera's placed there ...
A family in a Ford Taurus 2000 pulled next to me, husbands wife was yelling what type of car is that !!! Husband looking all mad, he kept creeping past the line ..... Wife looked good to, didnt really focus except at her and said its a ummmm M-m-m-mazda ! Protege 5 ! 2002 !
She was like thats a nice car !
I looked the the husband and he was glancing at the light waiting for it to turn green. So when the light was green i floored it, gained the lead but one 80 hits the P5 takes forever to get to 100+ Unless your already going 80, So i barely lost to them, and the guy is looking at me smiling as the wife said your car is Slow !
In shame i floored it and ran the red light and went on my way.

In the end of the day to feel better i seen a Dodge Neon 1995 with a Spec V Logo on it LMAO ! And a 1991 Accord with a large wing and 6 inch pipe. I beat them of course but its a shame that i had to stoop that low for victory.

Or look for the keys with the smile face on it, they have directions to which you can take my car to the chop shop and have it vanish without a trace helping me go through some scams to get a new ride !!!!!

Why would a cool Lexus IS300 race a 94 Grand Am? At least the Protege5 looks good next to the IS300. The Lexus has nothing to prove to the Grand Am. My parents both have Saabs and when I drive either one I get so many drivers in sport compacts wanting a piece of the car. You just don't go around and try to pick a race with a car that twice as much as yours and with more HP and technology to boot. I didn't know how many sport compacts I've beaten with either the 02 Saab 9-5 Aero Wagon or the 00 9-3 Viggen. I don't know if the drivers of the other cars think that oh its a just a regular 9-5 or 9-3 and think on I can beat it. When I'm driving my SE-R I don't go around and pick races with Civic DXs or Lancers. I know its not a challenge. Maybe thats why drivers in a tuned car try to race a highend car. Street racing is just stupid.

Sorry not flaming you or anyone. Just stating the facts about sport compacts drivers in my area.

dude, one day a light was turning yellow on me, so i floored it, then noticed the camera attached to the top of it, at that same second i locked up the tires, and came to a screaching hault. it was kinda embarasing, because there was 2 hott girls next to me.

 

shoulda gotten abs, then you would look "awsum"

btw your car would be better for racing with a stick. A LOT better. Having to rely on an auto tranny to shift when you want sucks b/c it will upshift unless you're practically flooring the thing
