I really don't get what it's supposed to do...change the exhaust flow under the car? I don't see how that will magically produce any more horsepower or torque...

What it is supposed to do is dependant on where you would mount it. If it is mounted before the second cat, you could open it up and eliminate the rest of the exhaust. It really is probably not that helpful on our cars and I dont think that you will gain that much HP, just alot more noise. Our main restriction is the header/primary cat.

Agreed. Not to metion, it will make your car sound like ****.

An open exhaust, dumped under the car on a Trans Am is one thing, but a Protege...? Obnoxious.
