Well, I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for hanging out here, anyway. How much do they go for? Any other cars you looked at before you got the Si? Like the Celica, RSX, Spec-V, MSP, mini, GTI?

 

yea the position does suck...but i'm used to it already...i've been driving my friend's si. As for the **** Honda thing..oh well. It's not a car's fault their owners do stupid *** **** to them but hey.

now as for the other cars...yeah i thought about other cars...i still haven't bought the si but it probably gonna be soon. GTI..too expensive, Mini...too girly but i did think about it...i'm not into celicas, but the rsx is one of the other cars i'm debating. I can get it pretty cheap too. Oh and I have a friend at the dealership so i can get the si for about 14,500 maybe less.

I thought about a protege5 but it's too big, in comparison to the si i mean. But hey...i still havent bought anything.

msrp is $19,460...i cant get it at carsdirect for $16,971...but like i said i have a hook up oh and no its not used well it has like 2 or 3 miles but because i test drove it.

Yes, they sticker at $19,xxx, but almost every Honda dealer here (DFW, Texas area) has been advertising Si's at $4,000 off MSRP in the weekend newspaper auto section. FWIW I almost never see 02+ Si's driving around, yet 99-00 Si's are everywhere, and there is no conclusive evidence that a 99-00 Si ever sold for even $0.01 less than sticker price in this area. Tells you something about the relative popularity of the two cars.

Personally, I'm waiting for Honda to bring the Civic Type-R to the U.S. in a desperate attempt to boost lagging Si sales. I feel that it is inevitable because they previously brought over the del Sol VTEC, another car that Honda initially said that they would "never" bring stateside, only to change their mind after sales of the regular versions nosedived.

 

yeah here too there's that 4,000 off msrp plus my friend is taking about 1000 off so thats why it comes up to about 14k

 

Some of Honda's Stuff is ok.

Its the wanna be 2 Fast and Furious Drivers who need to get the finger.

But then again its hard to **** on Honda, because people in every type of car drive stupid, its just that most ricers only afford a civic so in the fantasy land to them its a Mustang, or Ferrari or something.

If everyone had enough money to buy high speed performance cars then you would be seeing all kinds of RICE !!!!!!

Imagine seeing a Ford Shelby GT With Nos stickers and a 59 inch wing on the back, i would cry and drive after it and ram it off the road to make sure it never drives again LOL !!!!!!!!

i'd say a good 50%, if not more, of the people who modify their vechiles are complete wannabees.
