john, what you should have done to avoid the automatic lag is to put it in manual mode and keep it in 2nd.

I know in the classroom session they said you can't do that, but who's gonna check when you're on the course???

Heh.... I didnt' compete but it was still pretty cool.

OMG the test drive area was pretty fun cuz i took teh MAzdaspeed protege at full blast (and got yelled at ) but meh.

Lots of free cool **** like Mazda sunglasses, posters, brochures and shti. Got to see the RX-8 up close and sit in her and ****

John I think we need to put up an official 'Protegeclub Rev-It-Up ranking' thread in the motorsports section, and keep updating the thread as more people report their scores.

this will be fun!

 

Great job. If you got 8th place overall, that means I would probably have gotten 300th overall.
