Clear Side Blinker Covers for 1999 -

Does any one know where/who sells/supplies the clear blinker covers for the side of 1999-2001 protege's. That is the side blinker below the side mirrors. I currently have orange covers and would like to purchase clear covers. Thanks for you replies

Clear Sidemarkers

Hey man.....In order to get exact fit replacements you will have to go with OEM style sidemarkers. I really dont think any current aftermarket lights will fit due to the design. I have tried many universal sidemarkers like the ones offered on www.procarparts.com They dont fit. I have tried the ones that come on the Mercury Cougar. They dont fit. The only possible hope for an exact fit would be to wait until the Mazda 6 hits the shores. They look pretty promising.

Thanks. In fact As I am a newbie to Protegeclub and the web thanks to everyone who is helping me get around.

I don't know if this has already been publicised, but I have found the Japanese OFFICIAL MAZDA Blinkers Page (URL)

http://www.mazda.co.jp/accessory/gar...gon/index.html

One Prob though.....It is in Japanese, so If you can't read it, get a translator ...then you should be fine, I'm getting a friend to tell me how I go about em.

Thanks once again

Also, how much do they cost approx?? and how do they fit?? I mean is it a smooth swap over, or do you have to sand edges or something etc??

Information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

o.k Darryl..i got mine from Sydney (parramatta)..there's also a shop in the city that has them (chinatown).

i haven't got the name and number of these places on me now..but ill have a look for them and ill private message you when i get them

btw..the fitment is perfect...all you have to do is take the mudflap off, stick your hand behind the blinker and it clips off

they cost me $60aus

I'm going to be very quick, as I know forums don't house junk messages, but I am new to the web etc...so could you e-mail it to me (daryls1@hotmail.com) rather than private message, coz I don't know how to retrieve private messages, unless you want to let me know.

Thanks
