Question Calgarians?

How many Protege' drivers out there are from Calgary? What's your car like, and where in Calgary do you live?

Bearspaw (out towards Springbank), and a 2002 Red Protege' 5.

Classic Red 2000 Lx (without the touring package)

I Just put on some red Aloha-print seat covers from my vacation in Hawaii so I am easy to recognize (plus I have never seen another non-spoiler red LX).

Yo Nick!
Does yours have the red painted calipers on it? Just wondering.
You may have parked beside me at Silver City on the weekend.

Hey - I'm from edmonton, but I was visiting Calgary and Airdrie last weekend! Didn't see any P5s while I was in Calgary, but saw a Red one in Airdrie parked at the Co-Op.

Don - We took a little road trip through McKenzie town. That is ONE NICE DEVELOPMENT!!!

Paulf,

I have seen a few of the blue P5s with the blue gradient tint (Ken at Northill Mazda who sold me mine has one that way), and that looks sharp. I have seen a silver P5 with silver gradient tint and I thought it wasn't as nice as the blue on blue. I thought the silver gradient looked kind of cold (I can't think of a better word for it), but was still OK. If I were to tint the windows on my silver P5, I would tend to lean towards a relatively light normal tint, as I think the darkened windows on the silver car look sharp. The silver gradient looked OK, just not as 'wow, that's sharp' as the blue on blue tint.

Dale.

Ya, my wife and I like it here... a lot of good things said on the net about McKenzie Towne and one just like it in Arizona. I like the alley thing, and being able to walk anywhere. And easy for me to get mo some MTB trails. Been here a year and were already thinking about building another new house and sell this one. The only weird thing is, seems everyone goes to bed by 10:00! Kind of creepy.

Grows pretty quick. We had 18 houses go up within our site in the past year.

How'd you like the show?? We saw NIN in Skydome, front row(!) 5(?) years ago when he was touring with Bowie!

bar none the absolute GREATEST concert i've been to in my life.

The sound was PERFECT, the lighting was AMAZING and Trent and crew were unbelievably energetic.

We were all in the pit on the floor although moshing was kept to a very bare minimum by security. I was anywhere from the very front to about 5 people back, depending on how the crowd was moving.

I was pissed tho, cuz I found out after the fact if we would have hung around the outside of the arena after the concert, trent came out and was signing autographs and stuff... ARRRG

If you've seen the dvd they just released, it was pretty much the same as being there, only LOUDER!

We left edmonton around 11:30 monday night and got to vancouver around 4:00 tuesday giving us a few hours to eat and clean up before the concert. As soon as it was over, we hopped back in the car and drove home. Greatest two days of my life!

I gotta tell you though - if you're driving and tired, PULL OVER and either switch with your buddy or just get some sleep. There were a couple times where I opened my eyes to discover I'd drifted into the oncoming lane by accident. Couldn't have had my eyes closed for longer than a second or two, but that's all it takes, especially driving through the mountains...

Yes it was a great showand LOUD!! It was cool when I saw them, I had knee surgery two days earlier so I was on crutches and this MONSTER security guard was keeping people off my back.
One of the best shows I seen, another were the Ramones in a bar in Kitchener (LuLu's). Amazing show, this bar is huge! Used to be a K-Mart!
Sex Pistols in T.O.

As for the picture... I refuse to lower myself to the mentality of our northern brothers and give that a response.(jj) Actually it would have REALLY been funny if it was a cow.
