I think this is either bullsh*t or just simply ridiculuos. If you put almost 50 grand in the car and sell it for less then sticker price, then there is something wrong with you.

That comes up to $52,200, appears to be over the 49,000.

So I would say yeah, it is possible

 

Well, it's possible to SPEND that much, but I don't know if "invest" is the right word...

You'll also notice he has a reserve that hasn't been met yet. He probably set the reserve at $50k or so (which of course he won't get...that's 2 Miatas and a decent used truck!). It might be "worth" that much to him, but probably not to anyone else.

Must be really strapped for cash or something...Hope he makes enough to pay off his loan, at least!
