They are in Red Deer this August 15-18 ..
It's about a 2.5 day drive from Toronto.
I have lost touch with people I knew from school who moved out there so don't know anyone in Alberta at the moment.

What do you guys think .. is it worth the trip for a little summer's end holiday?

Last year the Nationals were on the East coast so who knows. No one in Ontario is hosting as far as I have heard yet.

Although I heard that the club in Barrie, Ontario was trying to get it.

I'm definitely going to be there. I caught the autoX bug last year and as a matter of fact, our first event of the Spring/Summer season is this Sunday here in Winnipeg. Ya, I'm pumped!

The only disappointment, is that my R-compound tires won't be in until the second event. So who here is going to the Nationals....have to start sizing up my competition lol.

 

I still haven't heard anything about "Eastern" nationals for this year.. maybe Alberta is the only one.

First Regional event here is May 25. Still don't have wheels or tires .. eep!

Thanks, Orange! I would have been fastest on the 3rd event too but I didn't stop in time. The stop box was slushy at the last 3 feet. hahahahaha
