Will this fit

Anyone know will there be a chance that this tire will fit?
they are potenza REO40 and there size is 215/45 /17.
I am going to mount they on a +43 offset rims on a protege 5.
I might lower my protege will progress springs which is around 1.2 to 1.5 I believe. Just wanted to know as I get a good deal on those tires.

yup, I know that 205 is the best fit for our car, but I can get a awesome deal on those tires so was wondering if they can possibly be fitted to work..

I have +42 and BARELY clearing it. I have only 20mm drop , if it was any lower it would rub rim protector bar.
See if they can be test fitted and offer to pay for it $10-$20, It still better than getting stuck with rubbing tires.

What about.....

215/40/18 x 7.5/45. Will this fit on a P5? I know

215/35/18 x 7.5/45 fits decently thanks to a response from Mattjk , no rubbing at all. Am I pushing my luck with the 40 series?

Thanks in advance...
Chuck
