will 18s mess up the drive on the mp5??

i'm deciding between 18's and 17's for a black mp5... here's the link to the rims, i want to know from anyone that's had this decision would it be better to go with 18s or 17s.. and i'm looking towards the look AND if it'll mess up my suspension at all. or if it'll rub... whats a good offset to get cus this whell is 42 offset. and how low would be a good drop.. i was looking at a 1.5 inch drop.. can someone help me answer these questions.. also, does anyone know a compnay that does REAL camber kits for the mp5?? thanks everyone

I have silver 18" sukodos, same as auction, with a +48 offset, and a 2" drop. I am running 215/35s and the wheels will not rub. I have no pics yet, but when my wife came home, the first thing she said was, " Too big" I said "No such a thing" Anyway, the handling was improved over stock, rear tires slide a little at high speed cornering, but adds to the fun of driving. I went with 18s, cause 17s just looked to small. Hope this helps. P.S. Sure feel the grooves in the road a lot more with the little rubber. Later
