Long story short: thought my MSP was stollen , but I was relieved that is was towed. Well somewhat relieved. Anywho, they towed the car, didnt put in on a flatbed, which means that they dragged my car with the ebrake on? WTF?
No they BROKE in my car , released the ebrake, and then proceeded to tow my car!

 

Was it a parking violation? Double whammy

 

well the thing is, I parked in a visitor spot, because I was a visitor. Apparently the spot is for guests only before a certain time. WTF that makes no sence

 

Was it labelled so on a sign? Sounds like BS (from them) to me.

 

Make sure your bumper doesn't have any new scratches. My friend has a Integra with a bodykit that was towed, and the front bumper got cracked. The towing company paid for it to be fixed.

 

I Checked the car, looked good to me. No visible sign. I was told there was a meeting about it, but how was I to know?

 

I heard about a scam like that before. Owners of parking lots would put the "boot" on the wheels of people's cars and charge them like $100 to have the boot taken off their wheels.
