Ive had the Eibachs installed on my p5 for awhile now and ever since they were installed Ive had a LOUD squeak coming from the rear of the car. All bolts are tight and nothing is rubbing.

I get the squeak when I go over speedbumps or and decent bump in the road.

Any ideas?

 

i get it too with my H&R springs.. i just turn up the stereo. -=)

 

yep, i get it too on my eibachs. don't know what it might be. could this be the bushing situation that mp3 owners so fondly speak of? well, think of it this way, at least it's not a clunk.

 

I dont have a squeaking problem, but I do however have a clunk when I roll down off of my driveway on my front left (drivers) strut...

 

that can depend on whether or not if the rubber seat was reinstalled under the springs, if not that can be where your noise is coming from , . You would have to Jack the car up and take a look at the pearch

when i first put them on my DX they sqeaked real bad for about a month then it went away. i think the clunk is normal cause the ride is a little harder. mine does that too when i hit a bump and back off of an incline

 

we drive protege's not a rolls..

 

Have you found the solution to your problem yet? I plan on putting some lowering springs before the summer and if there is anything I should look out for, let me know.
