quick ? answer quickly please

Some people could of heard the great story about me and the front right spindle on the 91 LX. If not here is a quickly, the spindle is bad and i have not fixed it, because of this the front right lower control arm will falll out when it wants and i have to stop with 3 wheels and 1 under the car. While this is the 4th time and like 2 other the axle came out and some other parts that i have to put back together and i do not want to do this a 5th time. i am going to fix this right( with parts from the junk yard ). Here is the main question can i use the spindle off the escorts and tracers? If so what years like 91-93 something like that. Please help i have until thursday before i go out there. If your not for sure post and lets see what other people think of that.

Help please i really do not want to die in almost stock pro, maybe a mod one tho

Well if it is going to be an Escort it would be an Escort GT. I think it would be the Tracer LTe but don't quote me on that one.

91-6 Escort GT or 91-6 Tracer LTS
you may even be able to use parts from the regular escort/tracer of those years...i know the front and rear suspension is the 'same' - only the brake hardware/size of the rollbars is different between the models....

yep

The Escort GT will bolt right up as far as the spindle goes. so will all of the 91-96 escorts.

If you need to get the Caliper and rotor also, I reccommend the GT, the LTS, or a wagon. Most wagons came with the large size rotors just like the GTs did, although some (with 13" wheels) came with smaller rotors. chances are, if your donor escort LX has 14" rims, then you will have the right size rotor and caliper. the calipers are stamped on them with a 14 i believe, but my memory is slightly hazy at this moment.

Good luck!
