the gtx front bumper

Ok time to buy the gtx front bumper. But before i do i have some questions.

1. What year or years can i look for.

2. If i do get the front bumper do you guys still think that the side skirt, and bumper caps would still look ok on it. if anyone knows someone that has done this that would be great( love to see some pics).

3. Upon on purchase do i need any brackets or bolts anything other then the bumper.

Its not gonna look gay. It will look oem. The GTX didnt have any different sideskirts. Are u getting after market sideskirts?. Depending on the skirts u choose it could look gay ..Jon

Are you talking about the EVO side skirts and bumper caps ???
If yes, I'd think that it will look pretty good. I've never seen it done, but it's not a bad idea.

for the most part i alway post in here because other then the engine forum i never go any other place on this site. That is why i asked not to move this because my question would not be answered by the people that i want to answer them.

Identity_X: yes i was talking about the evo bumper caps and side skirts. I like the evo bumper but i do not want to pay that much, and it is not stock so more then likey when i hit one it air fiber the thing could crack. The gtx bumper (i think is stronger and is more curb ready.) You never know if you are going to hit one when you are playing in the snow.

Im not sure the Evo skirts make the car look much lower. and the caps finish it off. u might wanna ask Mazdaspeedwest how much lower the evo is than the gtx. The sideskirts could be liek a inch lower than the front making it look odd ... Jon

the EVO bumper is fiberglass and will crack. Sits about 3" lower than stock. Requires brackets and braces, not very bolt on.

the GTX bumper is OEM urethane, flexible and curb friendly. Sits about 2-2.5" lower than stock. Requires brackets, but much more installer friendly.

how-tos for both are on my site, link is in my sig.

mazdaspeedwest: do you think that the gtx front bumper with the evo 3 side skirts and bumper caps would look gay? I do not want to buy the evo 3 bumper because more then likey i will fuc^ it up. so the gtx bumper i like and i want other things for the body that is why i asked.
