Group Buy Air Intake System

I was wondering if anyone wants to go for a group buy on the Air Intake System being offered at the Sunridge Mazda. Here's the link: http://www.sunridgemazda.com/HotDeals.cfm
They're selling this intake at the dealership.
I'm wonderin if it's a good intake or not, and if anyone could give me a guide on how to install it. Or even better yet, maybe you guys could help me hook it up on the Feb 2. Protege meet. I don't really wanna cough up the extra 60 to 80 whoppers just to get it installed. Is there any chance that I would get a discount by saying that I'm with the Calgary Protege Club? Meh, whatever. So lemme know if any of you guys are interested in a group buy. I won't even consider buying this Intake unless a few others are planning to as well.

Looks like it could be a Ractive intake. Tough to say though. Doesn't look like the Injen (true CAI) and it doesn't look like the AEM one either. I guess you could call and ask them which one it is exactly.

And why does it say "Protege 5" on the bottom of the ad? Like it'll only fit a P5??

That is the ractive intake, You can go to my webpage (click on www on the bottom of my post) and go to the CPC page. Broich has the Ractive intake and I have the polished short ram from Auto Zeal. Mine was about 250 with a monster flow filter (which might be for sale). As for install, its really simple, easily done in 15 to 30 mins, depending on how picky you are.

BTW, Im not sure if you will be able to find that many people in Calgary who would be up for intakes as there arent too many people who come to this place to chat with other owners...also most of us who are here have an intake

Stay away from that intake! I've heard nothing but bad about the Ractive. It doesn't mount properly, and just hangs aimlessly unless you construct a bracket. Go for the Ebay one.

i bought one from Sunridge

I bought that exact one from sunridge and it's fine. As long as you are at least a bit handy then you can install it. As for bang for buck, it's your best bet if you want a short ram style. For me to spend the BIG money on an INJEN or AEM cold air intake, there better be some big improvement in performance. PM me if you want more info, are you in calgary?
