Are the Rods/Crank identical with the SOHC and DOHC???

Are there two different size cranks for the BP???

If one uses SOHC pistons w/DOHC head will the result be lower compression (about 8.7?)???

If I remember correctly.... I think the cranks are the same dimension wise, though the SOHC crank is cast, and the DOHC crank is forged. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

 

If you have a SOHC and you swap your head with a DOHC, your compression will lower to 8.2:1. Who would want a DOHC, anyway?
