SpringTech Springs

Has anybody seen those SpringTech Sport Lowering Springs on eBay? They are BUY IT NOW for only $105.95. They look pretty sweet! They are a 2" drop on a '99-01 Protege, but they have them for all Protege years.

Seriously, $105 is way cheap, TOO cheap for a set of springs. I am HIGHLY skeptical of their quality, and the advertised drop (2") will put your car on the bumpstops if they're not *significantly* stiffer than stock. I would ask the people selling to disclose 3 things: (1) Where did you get them, (2) Do you have a warranty or return policy, and (3) What are the springs rates (post 'em here for our comments).

I have a feeling that the answers are (1) Some guy in the Philippines who wouldn't give us his name and insisted that we pay cash, (2) Heck no, and (3) What's a spring rate? If this is the case, go buy some real springs.
