Talking new guy here

howdy all. i'm the new guy here. i've always been a fan of the protoge since gen one when i was in high skool. then i got to reading about the 323 esp the whoo-ha 4wd rally version. anyhows, i've been driving used cars for a while, a mistu hatchback that was crazy fun to do tricks on, a classic ser (nissan) an 86' rwd corolla that i still have... not running anymore though, and now i got me a dx. i like it b/c the 1500 is still pretty zippy and the car is light. it is spacious but still handles great (for a fwd). i haven't driven the es but have seen many at the local track (summit point in west va) and i know how competitive it is in the ssc class, and i would like to actually auto-x. anyhows, i also ride mtcls but come winter, it is nice to be enclosed. i think the new protoge 5 is totally phat and blows the matrix out of the water. i am also a big nissan b15 fan and think the skyline will totally kill everyhting in sight! anyhows, happy motoring, hope to see yall on the road...

Welcome. You are not the only one with a 97DX here, we might as well start a club pf our on. Anyhow, if you questions, please be kind a do a search first. It is very easy and very helpful. The reason I am saying is because you WILL have questions, the same ones I and others asked already. Good luck!
