short throw shifter reduction up to 80%

I've heard that the pacesetter is adjustable up to 80%. Is this true for our 3rd gen Pro? The reason is I saw on mazdaprotege.net on the how to part section, and it says that it makes only a 1 to 2 inch difference. So which one is it? And should I still get the kartboy bushings and could they fit?

ps. oh yeah, where can I get one?

Yeah, it can go really short, but you'll be wrestling with it and you'll have to cut /bend heatshield. Try nopi.com for shifter and tokigiracing.com for bushings.
