Does anybody know how to take apart the dash on a '99 Protege? I know how to take out the instrument cluster, but the center piece that eveyone paints...I can't figure out how to get that off and I don't want to break anything. I bought a CD-ROM on eBay that has service instructions for the '99 Protege, but it doesnt get into that stuff. I also need to know how to take the vents (vent trim) out, because I want to paint the trim around them. Does anybody know where I can get info on taking this stuff apart? I might just take most of the dash out entirely, leaving only what is needed to drive, having only metal until everything is done being painted.

when i pull on it, it's not going to break anything on it? and i have to either take the ***** off or just unplug the back? do you know how to change the lights on the HVAC? I want them to be blue.
