Would anyone like to get together in a central location to meet and take a picture of all the Ontario ProtegeClub peoples and thier Proteges? Maybe the Toronto area this spring? I've got the camera...lets get a thread going of where we could meet, I'm in Fergus about an hour from Mississauga so to travel to the lakeshore area or International centre would't be too far for me.

 

I'm from Huntsville Ontario. I'd go to the lake front in toronto, but i think Wasaga Beach would be way better. Perhaps right on the sand or something cool? Be sure to post where it is goingto happen I'll be there for sure.

 

As there are quite a few members from the Ottawa area ,Iwould suggest something in the middle say around the Kingston area .Kingston is more central for everone . Just a thought Malcolm

 

I'm from Ottawa myself. It would be a kool idea to meet. I'm going to Wasaga for Victoria day weekend. That would be crazy if we met there.

 

Im up for it...from Woodstock, so TO would be aight...wasaga too!!!

toronto is alittle too far....i would preffer kingston though...thats only a 2 hour drive from ottawa!

we should also do this in the spring or summer cause the winter just sucks, and my car looks bad with the winter tires and all the salt on it!

 

Yeah Ontario's kinda big to get a good central location for everyone.. If something's only 2 hours from Ottawa that means it's probably still at least 4 hours from London.
The beach idea sound cool. Definitely not a tough drive from anywhere west of Toronto anyway... although there's some cottage area north-east of Toronto as well. Tough call.

Unless we try for a west/east meet first to see how many people show up and then do a "majority rules" decision on where to have it based on that

I'm glad to see the number of replies and I hate to cut anyone out but I assumed there would be the most number of Protege owners in the T.O. area, therefore the lakeshore suggestion. I like the idea of Wasaga too though!
I personally want to wait for the spring/summer because of the weather. I'd hate for someone to wreck there ride tring to meet for a picture. Also it's easier to spend a day detailing a car and doing touchups at the site in the summer...damn snow!
Anyways well see who else would be interested and figure a good meeting place in a few months.
For all you Ottawa people, this is your lucky day! My wife's sister is in Ottawa for University and I will probably visit there this summer/fall...I'll let you know what week/weekend I'd be there.
Hope I have made everyone feel welcome and been able to meet there wishes quite by luck.
I'll check back in a few weeks...

don't worry, when spring and summer roll around, we should have a huge meet.
