Ontario driveclean vs. performance
Hello all,
Does anyone know how the "Drive clean" rating for Ontario compare to California?
I've heard the tests are more stringent than Cali. I've also heard the tests are not stiff at all!
I don't have to do one yet, I'm just wondering if performance parts are going to cause my car to fail them in the future.
The C.A.R.B.# system in the states helpes when you are shopping for parts and if the system would carry over to Ontario then I'd just look for parts with a C.A.R.B.#

Ontario test is BS-I had 86 Nova pass it-it was eating oil, had no EGR sensor and leaking cylinder head gasket. Mileage was about 170000 km
My friend passed with 87 Buick Park Avenue with almost 200000 km with ZERO emission readings. Do I understand that was NO emissions vehicle?
