what you guys think of this car

Hmmm I might buy this RX-7

how bout you guys give me your comments on it

It needs allot of work...I'm aware of that already

Year: 1988
Make: MAZDA
Model: RX-7
Model Detail:
Price: $650
Mileage: 240 km
Date Posted: 10/31/02
Ad Type: Private
Comment: Auto., new brakes & tires, good body & int. Engine floods. 240 km. $650. Bring cash.

The only problem i have with it, is that its auto....but i think thats pretty cheap for a 1988 RX-7...the price is in canadian $$ too.

with the money thats saved, i can nicely fix it up.....but how bad are engine floods....and how hard are they to fix, or can the car still be driven...or not driven at all

you have to do two conversions so I could better understand if the offer is good.....

sounds like a good deal, but the biggest question is, how is the motor holding up, has it been neglected in maintenance???

engine flooding, as far as I know, is caused by leaky fuel injectors, so replacing the injectors may resolve the flooding problem.

the biggest thing to look for in a rotary engine is compression, compression, and compression.

look for at least a couple grands in rebuilding a rotary.... plus labor if you ask a shop to do it for you...

go to www.rx7club.com or www.teamfc3s.org for more expert advices. But like this board, DO A SEARCH FIRST!!!!

650$ CDN is about 400$ US.....

I don't see how you can go wrong, but don't buy it unless you have 2500 and a place that will do work on rotaries
