Question Winter Tires

Can anyone gives suggestions as to whether or not snow tires are necessary for the P-5 during Winter? I'm not talking about extreme situations, but snowing in Toronto during the Winter in general....??

If you want to be confined to the city and not be able to drive when YOU want to be able to, then fine, Don't get snow tires. Thats what the TTC is for.

Here in Ottawa we get lots more snow than you good folks in the balmy south of the province and I wouldn't think of passing the 1st of November without my snows on.

All season tires are a compromise at best, and if you really like to drive, are dangerous at worst. They have way less grip in snow and ice, and way less traction in the dry.

But you folks in TO can always panic, call out the Canadian military, and get a push if you get a little snow.

Get snow tires. Laugh at the people that get stuck or bend metal.
