If your into fantasy or just movies. GO SEE THIS MOVIE. I'm really into fantasy books and i've read the series LOTR but this movie is just plain incredible. I'm not going to talk about it so I dont spoil it but the effects and the scenery are awesome. Somebody finally made a good fantasy movie.

 

Saw it this afternoon. Good movie. Cant wait for the rest. What, next christmas when the second ones coming? I wish they would make a movie out of Robert Jordans series!

 

Yea they filmed all 3 movies at once. 18 months of straight filming, that had to be pretty rough. But they are only releasing one a year =[

 

Tolkien is GOD! The caracters were really well represented and the story was way truer to the book than I had thought it would be. Legolas is too cool! Like jking said, if you like movies, GO SEE THE LORD OF THE RINGS!!! Action, comedy, drama, it's got everything and it's 3 hours long so you definately get your money's worth! I'm glad they are making us wait for the next ones, it'll make them even better.

I'm going to see it again.

 

I saw it last night with a few friends. I didn't read the books cuz I wasn't really into that type of story. But the movie was really good, and I can't wait for the next two parts to come out. I don't want to wait until next Christmas to see the next part! And I must agree, Legolas kicked some ***, he was cool.

 

My favorite character would have to be gandalf

twice? jesus... I went numb sitting in those chairs for three hours. I don't think I could do it a second time... in the same week anyway.

 

Actually I went and saw it again with my fiance. The first time was with my friend. And she said she wanted to see it. The second time it seemed longer. 3hrs is a long time to drink a BIG coke and not get up to use the bathroom.

 

i hear that jeff, i had to pee the whole time but i never read the books, and didn't want to miss anything... so i had to sit there for the whole 3 hours

 

Those arent going to be DVD quality. They are either subbed or unsubbed. Subbed is shitty quality usually someone in the movietheatre with a camera. Unsubbed is the tape it from the reel. It wont be DVD quality but its defintely watchable. I have TFATF Unsubbed.

wtf??? i had to **** 3 times!!! plus, we went on opening night at 12 midnight, and i had my car in valet parking, and by my 2nd **** break at 2am, no one working valet was in the parking lot!!! ...it was a good movie so i had to see it again and i found out i missed out on quite a bit.

damn good movie.
