Unhappy 1.5l Very Rough Running - Help

My '98 DX 1.5L started having engine trouble a couple of weeks ago
when it was very wet. I could see lots of cross firing, sparks
jumping all over the plug wires. The Check Engine Light came on, I
had that read at AutoZone, which said it was a Cylinder 3 misfire &
Baro sensor failure. The engine ran VERY ragged, until, it warmed up,
or the RPM's were kept up. I assumed it was the wetness. I sprayed
the wires with WD-40, and after about 20 miles on the highway it
would run fine. Then if the weather was dry for a day or so the CEL
would go off. And every thing was fine. I ordered new plugs, wires
distributor cap and rotor. I'm waiting for the parts to arrrive. In
prep for the tune up I thought I would make sure the plugs weren't
frozen in the block. I removed the wires from the plugs and sprayed
some WD-40 onto the plugs. I then reinstalled the wires and was going
to go on my way. Well, when I started the engine, it ran worse than
before when it was wet! I took it out and tried to run it at highway
speed to hopefully duplicate what had happened earlier when it was
wet and a little run at speed would fix it all up. No Luck this time.
I pulled the plugs and wiped them and the wires off to remove any
excess WD-40. There was not much excess WD-40, the plugs are old and
worn, but not too bad. Still running very rough, barely able to
maintain an idle.

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPREACIATED!

Thanks in advance :-)
