Well, it was our first anniversary today, so we threw a big meet that was sponsored by Signature Mazda. More pics will be upcoming, but we had 60 Yup, 6-0 Proteges that came!!!

around 100 people total, from about 6 months old, to over 60 years old, so it was great!!!

So much fun talking to people about cars and definetely a meet to remember.

Holy crap! That is a meet and a half. I am defintately waiting for more pics. Was majority of cars there P5s and 3rd gen, or did you guys have all kinds of Pros? Thanks.

Note: For our ramp pictures, half of the cars had already left since it was the end of the meet. There was a lady in a Civic that wasn't too happy about having to wait for 30 cars to leave before she should use the ramp but oh well

 

Okay so who would win, a Civic or 30 P5s .

I was wondering how come you guys were parked on the ramp. Seemed a strange place to hold a meet. Now it makes sense.

Skyhawk, we didn't do this yet at our meet but it was proposed to have a 50/50 style draw.... except that all the money that is collected goes towards a mod for the member that gets picked.

But it has to be spent on a mod Just some ideas for other clubs......


As well, we will show Mazda Canada the support that this club has and they will see no doubt if we end up in a local newspaper (one of the reporters took pics). So next year maybe the West Canada meet might come true? hehe just ranting right now......

There are at least 6 sedans in those ramp pics.

Someone (in the other closed thread) said there was only 1 sedan.. and it's silver.

Check in front of it. That's mine... sand mica.. then 2 to the right of that car.. the black one w/tinted taillights.. that's Makavelli's.

There's an mp3 near the top sandwiched between 2 silver p5s.

Then there's a black one at the bottom of the ramp.

I think Vancouver has the highest concentration of Protege5s than any other place.

 

I had heard that Montreal is crawling with them. Supposedly you can't go anywhere without tripping over a P5 or a Pro. I wonder if there are stats available for this sort of info.

Personally I think the real common car, at least around here is the PT Cruiser. Sure seems that every 10 minutes one goes by.
