Yesterday went to Laguna for the Mazda Extreme Street show...It was a lot of fun for the whole team...I took home 3rd Place Best Mazda!

There was a lot of good racing and cool booths...I got to sit in and inspect a Mazdspeed Portege..it is very nice....they also had the JIC drag Protege there on display....WOW.

The HIGHLIGHT was getting to take two fun runs on the TRACK!!! Yes folks...I got to drive my P5 on LAGUNA SECA...it was so awesome...I got her up to 65 on the left turn right after the corkscrew

 

Hey you guys are completely welcome to attend Sevenstock 5 this Saturday 9/28. MazdaSpeed will be displaying a few Proteges there as well. It's a big car show weekend, with the "Cruising for the Cure" Street rod/custom show at Orange County Fairgrounds running simultaneously. Make a day of it if you are in LA, OC, or San Diego counties.

laguna seca was bad ***, it was the best 4 or 5 miles ive driven...it was really exciting, it was also cool that all of us could go on the track...that left turn after the cork screw was sick...

 

thats pretty cool! the OC fairgrounds is VERY close, like 5mins close. but i don't get off work till 3pm on Sat. I imagine it would still be going on, but would it be worth it?

 

Yeah. Laguna was fun. I ran into some issues and made it with two of the three Mazdas. THe GTUs had a broken alternator belt and no time to replace.

We'll be coming to SS5, the rotary side of the business. We'll have a booth somewhere down there. Don't know where Berny put us.

I'll have the widebody in the parking lot. I haven't had the car here to work on. It's been stored in LA since I bought it. Not in the shape I want to represent ourselves. Still a sick car though. NEeds some TLC with regards to wash and buff. Rims need refinishing. But it's got upgraded turbo and all the piggy back electronics. 18x13 rear 18x9 front. Kinesis K20. That's Viper ****. It's crazy. CAn't wait to do my RE-A molding to the Tripoint widebody.

The GTUs with all the JIC products, coilover, carbon strut bars and **** will be there in the booth. As well as an FD we have demoing the C-West line that we wholesale. JIC will be representing, C-West, and Enkei tuning line of wheels made in Japan. This is where we get form and function.

Proteges, mostly form. Function means good has mileage and a well handling FWD car. hehe. gotta love it though.
