Sorry, but I have to agree with 99&00 Protege on this one... this board gives me way too much information to ever leave!! It's got plenty of Canadian content, why start another board??

 

Sorry gugu, but I think I'll stay too. This board is good for me. I have met alot of good people through here and the mpsport board is virtually the same. So like 90&00 Protege and GOBLUES said, why should we move. You guys from GV area and TO area are more than welcome to either stay where you are or come over here. There is just way too much good info here to leave and start all over on another board. Thanks though. Maybe that is why the Western section of this board is so active as I think it has become the home for the Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba guys. Some of the Vancouver guys are also here but as someone else said, they go to MSsport.net. I don't think I can be on both to the same level as I don't have the time but I will probably go and post a picture of my car there.

I think that mpsport.net should ultimately be linked off of this site as representing British Columbia, and the Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan people can use this section since they've already settled in here.

Hey.. it's cool if you guys don't wanna "move" over. I don't think we asked you to move over... or are even pushing it. I noticed that a lot of members here (i'm not saying most), show some hostility towards the existence of "other" boards (I'm sure most of the poking at the mp3 forum is just for fun.. but i'm sure there's some grain of truth in your comments).

We are just saying that we are opening up our home for you guys to visit. And that you are welcome. Why is that so bad? =) And we're being nice enuf to offer to open up a new area if there is the need.

I don't know if you've noticed... but just like Greater Toronto, there's a lot of people from Greater Vancouver with Proteges. And it's a growing community. Large enuf to warrant a local board I think.

I'm not knocking this board. I love it. There's a lot of knowledgable and helpful people on this board. I'll visit both boards. In fact, I visit that "other" protege board too, and other local car enthusiast boards. I just don't do the yahoo ones and the older ezboard one that has no activity.

 

yeah, I dont' know, I refuse to go to the other board because there's simply no point to it. This board has a nicer layout, more members and is more active. I do go to www.mpsport.net for local chat though

I think we should keep mpsport.net more of a Vancouver club with anyone else invited to join in.
