my new box

well me and my dad finally finished the sub box. So I thought I would share with all some pix.

Also thanks alot ~HH for helping me trying to figure out what was wrong with my sound. I finally decided to get a better amp, and to also seperate both of the subs so that they had their own air to pound with.(big difference)

Well anyway check out my pix.

Comments and questions are welcome.

nice lookin' box! i love bass, but i hate the extra weight of a sub box in my trunk. i pulled mine out a few months ago, so now it's sitting in my garage collecting dust.

Great Job!
Looks like you made the most of the small space available. I've notice that the height of th box requires that you remove the factory deck, are you thinking about building a custom rear deck?

What about the location of the amplifiers?? Interior Lighting?
If you have any more pictures,be sure to let me know. I have a little project myself

Those spikes look like if you gave those subs more power they would reach out and stab your cone. Do they go in that far?

Not to worry

I was worried about that when the first person on here aked me that , but i went back to the car to check out if it was true, (if I gave those subs more power they would reach out and stab the cone), but i measured about an inch and a half of space between the tip of the spike to the cone. so i'm good

I like the Idea but those spike do seem a bit long. Can barely see MTX logo. But the glass is damned cool.
