Got my tint today...

Very happy Got my tint installed today by Speedy Autoglass. They did a great job. Went with 35% all around which is the max legal around here. I like it alot. I am not a big fan of super dark tint so this is just perfect. Sorry for the fairly large pic size...

looks good... good choice on the 35%, thats what i like too.. i went with a 'cool chrome' on mine.. so it's mirrored pretty good for only bein a 35% legal tint.

looks good...how much did it cost you?...I live in Wa as well and have been debating if I should tint my windows or not....Western Wa doesn't get that much sun IMO

Speedy charged me $265 plus tax with lifetime warranty against peeling, discoloring or cracking. The P5 has 9 windows (not counting windshield), so it's gonna be more than most sedans etc... They did a great job on install. Unfortunately, like you said, we don't get a whole lot of sun here so not many folks get tint, and thus it costs more around here. I called around to 4 or so places and they all wanted between $260 and $300 to do the car.

Ah well, I like it for a bit of privacy, good looks, and it does cut down on glare on sunny days.

Land o the SUN

Looks good,
Not dark enough if you ever venture out of WA.

Taking mine this weekend to a tint shop here and getting limo on the back 5 and maybe the front doors also. luckily it is only a meer $190 for tint. With a Strip across the windshield.
Gotta have tint here.

Well I'd have to drive about 1000 miles before I got anywhere that gets significantly hotter than it does here, so I think I'm ok

tint

Great job on the tint. Looks clean. Is that a mirror/chrome tint or just regular? Looking to get 35% on mine as well.
