Problems with accessing board

I have had trouble accessing the board the past week or so. This happens @ work and home. Sometimes when I click on a thread, it comes up as a 401. I do a refresh, and the thread comes up. I also get this sometimes when I do a reply to a thread. Has anyone had the same problem? This is irratating when I have to re-type a reply that didnt go thru.

I too have had a similar problem at in the recent past. Whenever I try to click a link, my proxy server replies with a host unreachable message. I normally just blame my proxy server for being retarded, but it's only happening on this site and just for the past number of days.

Yes, this is all part of an on-going speed of the site issue that we all have with Jason, the site's owner. Sadly, he hasn't responded to any of us yet, nor visited the board in the last month or two.
WTF!? Are you serious? What happens if this board goes down, he may not know about it for months! That would suck. I hope this problem gets resolved before the entire board is screwed. Why doesnt he hang out here like the rest of us? Maybe he should give admin to some of the ops who frequent here often...

Suprises the hell out of me also. This board is one of the most successful boards ive been on. I would love to have a board with this many people on it. Maybe he goes by another name as a regular member? I like to give people the benefit of a doubt, so maybe he can clear this up for us.

BTW, does anyone have a list of other boards for the Protege/5/MP3?

There is www.protegemp3.com which seems to be pretty popular as well.
