Whooped B-16 CRX Si!!!!!
 

Today was one of the best races I have ever had. My good friend Sam has a 91 CRX Si with a full B-16 jdm swap that he brags about all the freakin time. He is always puttin me down about having a SOHC engine and especially a sedan. We were at our usual hang out spot in town with a couple other guys when he started making fun of my PROTEGE and that was it, I wasn't gonna sit there and take his crap anymore. So everyone left to Colusa Ave., the best place in town to race, a three lane street and deserted at night. We lined up at the stoplight and waited for the signal from his girlfriend. One thing that sucks about my car is that it's automatic, but i guess it didn't matter this time. I'm over here revving at 4000rpm and he's gotta be revving atleast at 6000rpm. Theres the signal he starts to burn them for a while and mine does for just a second and i'm already a car length ahead of him by the time he stops burnin his tires, and we were off and all I can here is my exhaust screaming, then i look in the mirror and hes gaining on me, so then I had to powershift (remember it's an automatic) and it freakin worked! We kept at the same distance the hole way. All he did was gain about 10feet behind me but never even got close to my car. After I crossed the line at next stoplight he flipped me off and kept on going after I slowed down to claim my fame. Man he is so pissed off right now. He's put over $10,000 into that car. But again the protege never fails to show how much it will woop the little rice boys asses.

Now I just can't wait to embarass someone else again with my automatic.

Holy crap that kid can't drive. Sorry, I don't want to bust on you, but B16s are like 160hp, and CRXs are ~~ 2100lbs. Even with the stock Si engine, they run like in the 7s 0-60. My friend has a civic hatch with a B18 (i think, whatever is jdm integra), granted is has more HP, but it's also heavier. Anyways, that car is QUICK.

I've raced a B16 Hybrid CRX at 6psi and it was neck and neck, no way an auto 94 Pro beat.

matter of fact he did miss second, and and for another fact his car was dynoed at 134hp (it's 160hp at the flywheel) and with one baddass stereo system i don't imagine the car weighing in under 2500lbs. if you don't believe it then don't post it because it's true. this was the best race i have ever had and I'll probally never be able to do it again unless i go turbo. but for now i'm going to stand tall until he beats my ass. powershifting is when you start of in a lower gear on the automatic and then power shift upwards into the higher gears, thats what i did since i was using the "hold" button on the side of the shift knob.

:bsflag: c'mon now. He was just fucking with you or like Thegoldpro stated he missed every gear he had or mabee he put it in reverse.

and when i meant his car was a rice car, it meant that with the car having 6 different colors and pink graphix since his girlfriend owned the car before him, it has to be one of the ugliest thats in our town but with a baddass stereo and a killer engine it just doesn't mix right, thats what i meant about rice boy

If you don't want people to question whether it is bs or not, don't post it at all in the first place. Street racing is illegal and dangerous and you are stupid for doing so. Someone else would be sure to come on here and tell you that too. Fact is, this is a public forum and if you don't like feedback, positive or negative, don't post it in the first place.

BTW, I agree with everyone else that this story is BS also, or he was just messing with you or like one other person said...WORST. DRIVER. EVER.

i dont know i raced a stock se-r sentra once, and he missed second gear and still caught up and killed me, and my car will def beat a soch dx pro, and the b-16 is rated higher hp than an se-r. so im still calling B.S.

Cause since the board is hosted out of Canada, and Illegal Street Racing is a huge problem in the MOT, to the point where other bulletin boards owners' have been arrested for collaborating to arrange and support street racing, the owner of the board decided to ban all street racing topics there. Ok lets be real here lol .. Ive raced my roomates Honda Del sol si with a 1.6 sohc vtec rated at around 125 hp . With my 93 lx protege , I must of raced that car 20 times and everytime we were dead even all the way down the track .. Now to say ur DX sohc protege with a system and a automatic beat a Dohc vtec CRX is just retarded. thats like saying goldpro beat that sentra SER (which he told me he did lol ). we raced another guy at school who has about a 2000 - 2001 altima base model.

I raced him first in my friend probe
I killed him

then my friend raced him twice after me cuz the altima guy is like..."I didn't know he was gonna race....I wouldn't have raced if he was racing blah blah..." and was being a bitch cuz he always new i would whoop his ass

then when my friend raced (i was still in the process of teaching him how to drive manual...he got the basics...now i needed to teach him how to race with a manual)
haha my friend missed 2nd both times he raced.....he depressed the clutch too quickly thinking he was fast enough haha.
but still after taking like 3 tries to get it into 2nd....he took off....and we caught up to the alitma

oh yeah alitma is a automatic...and i'm geussing the guy driving the altima just left it in Drive and didn't powershift


but a 94 pro dx cathing a crx with a B16....but sorry i have to call BS

i havent came back because you guys think it's a load of crap but it's not. just keep on thinking what you want, but it wasn't you who raced. He lost to me and i know if he raced me again he would tear me a new asshole. i don't know exactly what he did wrong but i know he had to of missed a gear but when he finally talks to me again i'll let you know how my automatic beat him.

Wow, I'm gone for two days and this thread explodes. At least I was politely calling BS. :D 134whp in a tiny car like that (even with lot's of stereo equip) is still going to be quick. No way that thing has 500lbs of stereo equip in it, it's no 2500lbs. Sorry you're getting busted on here, but you almost have to except it if you know anything about honda performance (i.e. B16 swap in a CRX is NOT a laughing matter) compared to our cars.

I'm sorry but I can't believe this. My friend has a B16 in his civic hb and he whips my friend all the time who has a MX-6 V6. I won't believe this until you show videos of it. I'm not flamming, just not a believer.

Plus my wife has 95 Altima GXE and its an automatic.And I know it would smoke JR's gen 1 pro auto with hardly any mods.But know way would it even be in the picture with a crx si give me a break.BULL SHIT!!!!!!
