MP5 vs. Cabbie

As I'm pulling up to the light I notice that ahead(300 feet or so) there is road work going on and the lanes merge to the right. So I pullover to the right lane at the redlight and a blue cab pulls up next to me. I knew what he was thinking of doing. So the light turns green and we both gun it. I stayed right next to him and was even ahead of him at the biggining. He couldn't pass me so he backed off and got behind me. When we got to the next red light he yells "Yo that $hit is slow!". So I kindly replied, "We'll it took care of your sorry a$$ didn't it!" At the next light I said "I didn't buy it for speed it's a wagon." He just said "What ever." He even had a pasenger in the car. It was probably a freind, but still these guys are the worst drivers.

the cabbies in Chicago drive crown vics and those things are pretty punchy off the line. Still I bet the pro will take them!

Matty, I dont know about you, but most tauruses I've seen on cab duty are the crappy little I-4s or maybe the v-6. But I havnt seen a lot of SHO's converted for taxi duty.

I didn't get a good look at him since he was behind me . No seriously I don't know but I would guess it was a Taurus. All I have to do is stick my head outside for 30 seconds and one will drive by. I wanted to bust up laughing at what he said, beleive me I was laughing but I would have been rolling if I wasn't in the car. I know he would have torn me up if it was the 1/4 but for 300 feet I could hold my own. I could never have even dreamed of doing that in my Jeep . Now my brothe rwants to race me in his brand spankin new Lancer Ralli Art with 162hp. I said are you stupid I know you'll beat me. He didn't realize that the MP5 only has 130. He thought I had 160 like the 3's do.

They might own me in the protege, but just let me get the land cruiser out to the track with its beastly 250 hp I-6 dragging around 5600 pounds My friend beat me in that beast with his 97 suburban puling two jet skis.
