sorry, but a NA MP3 is not going to have enough *** to hit 140...unless it has some SERIOUS engine work, and I mean more than what a turbo kit would even cost

BTW, it was called MP3 because it was the first factory car to have a stock MP3 player. The 3rd gen Protege started in 1999, and the MP3 only ran in very limited production in 2001. Big load my A$$ you A$$ My MP3 is number is 292 they only made 1,500 of them I know this. You guies made a big deal out of all of this for what? Its stupid and yes when you go fast enouh lol the speedo will break. Just like mine did, and my buddy broke his doing 210 on a beefed up ninja. his speedo said 180 so it realey dont take much. I have been doing this kind of stuff ever sence I was little. I grew up on a dragg stripp so please dont insult me. I can prove you that It will do everbit if it I will go buy a new one and put it in, Then someone can go to one mile hill with me . you will find me in hall county riding around or in commarce or in gainsville all of these places are in GA if you find me in commarce I will be at the dragg stripp there is not a lot of other MP3's around I have only seen one other in taccoa GA. This is a challange. My goal is to beat the worlds fastes protege that has turbo I will have it soon. With a cupple other sponsors I will.

lets see if he straightens up or leaves permanently...either way everyone will be happy

not a good thing to try and get around the rules, i was gonna find out what his mp3 could do... know some people that hang out at commerce drag strip :P
