I have maney stories. but the latest one was a tiberion. Needless to say I won. @ 140MPH or more dont know speedoo was to its limits. In a one mile streach.
No Turbo

I don't see an MP3 doing 140...

And I hope that was a 4 cylinder tibby or that's bs too

think u got yur letters mized up.. meant msp, not mp3? 140 is mor like msp top sped...

letters arent mixed up... look at username. I will also raise my bs flag high unless you have quite a bit of work into your MP3. they are also geared the same as a reg 5spd. you would be redlining at 140. 2.0 turns almost 6k at ~110.

either way racing to 140 mph is teh gay. totally stupid. i took my P5 up to 125 and it maxed out....no more power to push it. that was like three years ago and i was young and dumb. i dont think ive had it over like 80 since then.

Sorry for the typeO... And I have done a lot of work to it... My MP3 Is quick.
And I know how to drive . It don't tack out 6 rpms @110 your crazey you know some peple. If you don't have one never driven one and don't know how to DRIVE, Don't respond..........

I did mean MP3 my protege was the first of the third gin. mazdas. And if aney one wounts to challange me to it . we can settle it on the streets. we'll go down one mile hill here in Georgia. :FU2:

the MP3 was NOT the first of the 3rd gen protege's...3rd gens' started in '99...the MP3 wasnt out until '01...

And unless your MP3 is turbo it's still not doing 140mph....

Even if it is turbo, I'd be happy to take up your challenge.

We don't ALL drive Protege's here....

I'll even keep the stock pulley on the supercharger for ya.

BTW, it was called MP3 because it was the first factory car to have a stock MP3 player. The 3rd gen Protege started in 1999, and the MP3 only ran in very limited production in 2001. DO NOT spread misinformation. I am one of the site mods, not joe-schmoe poster so watch the language and name calling, it will NOT be tolerated.

140, ha! thats nothing i easily do 250mph on my Mazda 3 2.0L in a 1/2 mile track, and i mean easily, I dont even need to do 4th gear, of course I do use twin turbos, forged interior, CAI and a catback, custom suspension and other minor modifications, and then after a good race I like to hang with my friends the Easter Bunny and Santa claus. :D
Oh yeah i broke my speedo too.

sorry, but a NA MP3 is not going to have enough ass to hit 140...unless it has some SERIOUS engine work, and I mean more than what a turbo kit would even cost

Big load my A$$ you A$$ My MP3 is number is 292 they only made 1,500 of them I know this. You guies made a big deal out of all of this for what? Its stupid and yes when you go fast enouh lol the speedo will break. Just like mine did, and my buddy broke his doing 210 on a beefed up ninja. his speedo said 180 so it realey dont take much. I have been doing this kind of stuff ever sence I was little. I grew up on a dragg stripp so please dont insult me. I can prove you that It will do everbit if it I will go buy a new one and put it in, Then someone can go to one mile hill with me . you will find me in hall county riding around or in commarce or in gainsville all of these places are in GA if you find me in commarce I will be at the dragg stripp there is not a lot of other MP3's around I have only seen one other in taccoa GA. This is a challange. My goal is to beat the worlds fastes protege that has turbo I will have it soon. With a cupple other sponsors I will. :101384_l: :uzi:
