It was quicker than I expected I was thinking of highs 18s or 19s. Plus I was at seven thousand and some odd feet above sea level. When I get my BPT I will be quicker. Thats gonna be fun. I wasnt disappointed at all. My car weighs in at 2530, with a half tank of gas and full interior. (thats translates to about 89 hp at the wheels and 116 at the crank) lol...now that is sad.

you have to realize that here in colorado the air is really thin, N/A cars suck balls here. The race track that I race at is 7800ft above sea level. Thats pretty harsh on the n/a 4 cylinder, basically stock. I think I did real well.

Does the track have a correction factor listed? For example, LACR (in CA) is at 2800 ft above sea level, and has an E.T. correction of 0.9679 and MPH of 1.033. For example, my best 16.753 @ 79.746 corrects to a 16.215 @ 82.378

And where is that track. I thought most of Denver was around 5200 ft.

And 2530 is pretty heavy for a 1st gen stick. A sunroof car weighs 2550 lbs. stock, with a full tank. Mine weighed 2480 with a half tank and no spare, but with the floor mats and full glovebox.

No they dont do any correction things. The race track is Bandimere Speedway, which is in Morrison, not Denver, about 25 miles from Denver. The 2530, was with me (180 lbs) and a 3/4 tank of gas. So Id say around 2300 w/o me in it. Not to bad.

Well, that's better for no interior. You really should use the 2300lb weight, since most people on here have a pretty good idea what a 1st-gen weighs.

PreFknLude_SiR August-10th-2003 01:02 AM

WTF, you ran 17 sec and still beat a FI Civic? That does not sound right at all.

Liquid_Ag August-16th-2003 06:59 AM

yo yo yo i got a trap speed of 89 mph with my fucking 18.5 when my clutch decided to fully not engage...again, i dont know how i got a faster speed then, but it sucked my nutz cuz it was faster than my only decent runs trap speed
